The Judge Rotenberg Center (JRC) is the only mental health center in the U.S that still uses electric shocks as a form of therapy. Its client population is highly made up of autistics ranging all across the spectrum and they're often punished or minor actions,such as when they shocked a teenager,Andre Mccollins 31 times for 7 hours due to him refusing to take off his 2014,the United Nations officially labeled their "treatments" as a form of torture and yet,as of August of 2019,the FDA still has not act on either banning the shock devices used at the JRC or shutting the JRC down;
